Supporting the literacy needs of at-risk and homeless children in our community. Is a volunteer organization that supports the literacy needs of homeless and at-risk children living in shelters throughout the South Hampton Roads community in Virginia. Through our Shelter Read Aloud Program, volunteers spend time with the children in shelters reading and doing a support activity. The REACH Read Aloud Program.

The challenge is for each student to read at least 20 minutes a day for 70 days. The Summer Reading Challenge will begin Friday, June 19, 2015, and will conclude Friday, September 18, 2015. The 70 days do not need to be consecutive. The students reading will need to be recorded on a Reading log found HERE. 730 am - 4 pm.CONTENT
